Studio Europa

The project "Studio Europa" aims to stimulate and increase interest and engagement of people in European and democracy-related topics on the platform Twitch.tv.

Through discussions and interactions, a stronger connection and deeper understanding of the democratic system of Germany and Europe, with a focus on the European elections, is intended to be established. How important is voting actually? How does the EU work? Questions about the EU are no longer limited to the classroom or linear TV shows.

Politics is now entering a world that was not previously obvious. Even the world of gaming utilizes its tools to spread messages and perspectives. A trend that has been increasing for years is the platform Twitch, where streamers sometimes broadcast their gameplay live.

Twitch is no longer just a gaming platform, but also serves as a media channel for entertainment and informational formats.

This is where we come in: We are launching our Europalounge as a fact-based source of information to contribute to the democratization of the platform by combating misinformation, propaganda, and ignorance with expertise and methodology.
