Ilona Rathert

27 member states, 24 official languages. Ilona Rathert does not speak them all – but she certainly speaks a number of them. After studying Romance and Latin American studies for several semesters, Ilona completed a professional training course as multi-lingual management assistant. At EAB she coordinates as well as several individual projects also the entire project management group. This is because her linguistic competence is not only restricted to deploying vocabulary. Something else is what Ilona does: she can listen, empathise, she can find compromises. This is what is known as communications (or something like that). And it takes place in every single one of the EU’s official languages.
