Summer Academy 2024

Economy - Climate - Future: How can we manage to rebuild our world together so that people can continue to lead a successful life in it in the future? Is there a way to address the problems of our current economic system and restructure it? How would a reorganisation be possible so that the climate targets could still be achieved? And: What is my role in this?

The Europäische Akademie Berlin and the Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung are jointly organising the four-day Future Workshop for New Economic Education in August 2024. Together, we want to explore how we can remain capable of acting in the context of major challenges and thus promote effective climate protection. All in the spirit of European values and sustainability goals: In innovative formats and at an extraordinary location in the middle of the countryside in Berlin, we will discuss and experience what a sustainable and just society can look like.

What can you expect?

In addition to exciting discussions about possible future scenarios and utopias, excursions to local initiatives in Berlin and interactive workshops, we want to get creative with you - how can your ideas be realised? How can you find like-minded people with whom you can go down this path together? In narrative and media workshops, you will learn everything about podcasting, writing and illustration. The programme is held entirely in German.

• Young people between the ages of 16 and 21

The Summer Academy takes place in cooperation with the Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung. It is part of the CERV project Young European Leaders.
