The Disinformation Resilience Dialogue brings together young participants from Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and Georgia to discuss the role of disinformation and fake news in today's world.
European countries are facing enormous challenges that require informed and engaged citizens. At the same time, disinformation, fake news and propaganda are spreading in the European media, not least due to the Russian war of aggression on Ukraine and the rise of right-wing populism in Europe. The three-day seminar focuses on transnational exchange. Together, the participants will learn how to deal with disinformation in the participating countries, gain insights into best practice examples and meet politicians who will report on their work.
The aim of the seminar is to sensitise young people to disinformation, to awaken interest in the Central and Eastern European neighbours, to enable transnational exchange and to strengthen European cohesion.
Participants of the project: The event is aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and 25 from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and Georgia. who have a keen interest in political and media topics. The international composition of the participants is intended to facilitate an intensive and broad exchange with diverse perspectives.
